Since our association launched in November 2013. Before that I was an associate member of the Nova Scotia Association for three years.

I work as a lawyer for an insurance litigation boutique. My firm works for a number of regional, national and international insurers in a number of different areas including property, auto, director’s and officer’s liability, surety, product liability and fidelity.

4) What is your current position?

5) Why did you become a member of your Local Association?
I founded my local association because there was a need for an association of this kind in New Brunswick, where insurance professionals can network, learn and develop professionally.

6) When did you become a Director for CAIW?
January 2014

7) What impresses you about CAIW?
I am impressed by the commitment, dedication and professionalism of many of the women I have met through CAIW, and their commitment to CAIW and to their respective associations.

8) Do you have a favourite story from your experience with CAIW?
There are many favorite moments…to many to begin to list, but the most memorable to me are witnessing my friends and colleagues Deb MacDougall (2011) and Lana Kenny (2015) receive the Insurance Woman of the Year Award.

9) Tell us a little about yourself
I attended my first CAIW convention in Montreal in 2011 and have attended every convention since. Although I live on the east coast, I have never been to Newfoundland, and I am already excited for convention 2020!
